Figured i'd say have a good marrage, and to Donna, welcome to the Schnurr side of life.
Dear Paul being my youngest brother it is hard to say you love one brother more than another. However in our hearts I believe we all love the the youngest the most because we have matured and learned how important Family is. In particular you have always been there for me. I hope that you never need me but if you Donna or Jacob ever need me I hope you know I'd be there. Donna you are beautiful bride and wife and Jacob I am happy to have a nephew like yourself. That day I thought of you all Father you were in my prayers. I am so confident that our Mother and Father were looking down with great feelings.
Lotsa love from your brother
PETER

A great day it was... especially through the video camera lense it seemed just right.
After spending a few days in your home with my kids this week I can say how proud nana & pop-pop would be of their youngest son's family. Erika & Justin have asked to go back already and it was just real great after all these years to be hanging out with my uncle Paul and to see Uncle Ed & Julie, their sons and my mom all in the same few days.
Thanks again and I through up some more photos since the Photographer did such a nice job... we should show them off here.
Chang!
Wish we could have been there, but someone has to work. We wish you all the best
& a happy prosperous marriage. You are so lucky to have found each other!

What a great site, did Jeff do it? The pics, vids, and of course "The Fall" - timeless classic. I still am impressed Donna did not break a leg, the lucky girl. We would really like to get copies of the pics of Paul, Paul & Jacob, and P&J & Donna all on the stool on the grass - really good shots. Quite a testiomonial from Murray, he is a great guy - I could see what he meant on the golf course with Al exactly. And the memories of visiting your mom whether you were in or not are so true -the carpet, the flowers, the hugs from Terry. You do have your parents qualities Paul, and that is a great thing. We are off to Dan and Velma's 80th joint BD party on Sat Aug 11th. We are fortunate to be able to do so. Hope we get to talk or see you both real soon.

Hi Paul
Bonnie and I just wanted to thank You, Donna and Jacob for inviting us to your wedding. I know I already told you many times but I'll say it again, we had a great time and I haven't had that much fun and laughter in a long time. It was sure good to see the old gang. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet your Huntsville friends and family, but if we get a chance I know we'll like them.
Crow, I feel pretty lucky that I can still call you a best friend even though we haven't seen each other more than a handful of times in the last 20 years. I'm happy for you and wish you guys all the best in your life together. I should have said a few words at the wedding but I'm not sure if everyone would have appreciated them and I didn't want to change the mood because we were having so much fun. I am going to write a few things down that I would have liked to have said so Donna and Jacob get a feel from my perspective what kind of family you came from. Hope you guys appreciate them. I think I met you Crow when we were around 13 or 14 years old. You had noticed that I knew most of the pretty girls who all lived on my side of town. We seemed to hit it off right away and spent lots of good times together. We haven't always seen eye to eye on everything but there was always a bond of friendship. My best memories though aren't about the parties, girl's, cars or boats. They are about the times I was included as part of your family. Your mom, dad and brothers always welcomed me at your home like I truly belonged there. I can still see your mother sitting on her immaculate porch with the green outdoor carpet and impatiens all "showing". Every year when I plant my own I wish they would look as good. I'd stop to say hello to her whether you were there or not and she welcomed me each time with a hug and kiss like I was one of her own. On Friday nights I would go to pick you up and Al would offer me a beer and sit and talk to me as a friend before we'd go off to some party. He made us feel like men, even though we were only boys. I was honoured each time I was included at your Christmas Eve breakfast parties like one of the family. Great memories. When your parents invited me to Florida, I was 15 years old and had never been outside of Ontario. What a trip! The experiences you and I had there were exciting as well as a little dangerous. I won't go into all that but you know what I'm talking about Crow. I still remember driving to Spoto's restaurant in your dad's white Cadillac convertible with the Fish's. Your dad ordering us bud's with our dinner and all going to the bumper cars after. Every morning the boys (you and I with Al and John) going to the International House of Pancakes for breakfast. We would eat three eggs, bacon, sausage and french toast every day. You also know that on that trip I had the golf game of my
life with borrowed clubs from your dad's friend at the condo. One experience on that course that stayed with me you weren't there for and I'm not sure if I ever told you about it. Your dad and I had hit off to the same side of the fairway on one hole and had gone off in the cart together. It was my shot and he was standing beside me and we were waiting for some ladies who were on the green ahead of us. We were quite a way out and I was going to hit a three iron but it should have really been hit with a nine. If you remember I wasn't a scratch golfer?? Anyway there was a belligerent American behind us who started yelling at us to hurry up that I wasn't that good of a golfer and would never hit that far. I felt pretty embarassed. Your dad remained patient and quietly told me to wait even though the guy kept it up. Finally Al said to me go ahead and hit. I guess he'd heard enough. The ladies were all putting up at the far end of the green. I was pretty nervous but hit the ball straight about four feet off the fairway and it bounced once and landed on the green and rolled to within 15 feet of the pin just behind the ladies. In my mind it must have looked to the idiot behind us that I meant to play it that way but it was just pure luck. We never heard him say anything else the rest of the round. All your dad said to me was good shot and we got in the cart and made our way up to you and John. I was impressed with how your dad supported me and handled the situation in his quiet way.
Crow, you are a mix of your mom and dad and whether you know it or not, you have their qualities. That's why you have so many best friends. I'm just fortunate to be one of them. Feel free to share this with anyone else you think might appreciate it. Hope to see you soon.
Your friends,
Murray and Bonnie
